Diamondhead Resort brings together float trips, camping, cabins, RV sites, live music, and everything you need for a full weekend on the river.
The DiamondStone Festival is back—three full days (and pre-party) of live music, river floats, food trucks, and barefoot dancing under the stars.
Grab a Primitive Camping Pass for less than $100 and stay the whole weekend. Want something a little more luxe? Festival admission is included with all lodging booked through the event.
All tickets and lodging must be booked through

No outside passes accepted. No boring weekends allowed.
We keep it simple. Two float routes, both on the Illinois River. One’s quick. One’s long. Both hit right.
6-Mile Float: Short, easy, done in 2–3 hours. Perfect for first-timers or folks who want time back at camp.
12-Mile Float: The long haul. Plan for 4–6 hours and bring snacks. More river, more stories.
We’ve got rafts for 4, 6, or 8 people. Just pick the size, pack the cooler (no glass), and hit the water.
The United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians now proudly owns and operates Diamondhead Resort. As caretakers of these lands for generations, the UKB is proud to carry the spirit of the river forward, keeping the floats long, the nights loud, and the weekends just the way you remember them.
